When I received my certification, the training was so intensive that my hands got all scraped up from tying the obi a lot, but it felt great to let myself do what I wanted to do. I don't want to wait. If I want to wear it now, I want to be able to wear it now. That's why I couldn't wait a year to attend a dressing class. When I think something, that is the best timing.

Then, while wearing kimonos in America, I discovered there are a lot of secret kimono lovers out there. But they don't know much about kimonos, and they think they can't wear them because they're not Japanese. Learning this, I wanted to start a kimono rental studio where I could offer full support to anyone who wants to wear kimonos.
